2017 CBTU-Canada Annual Charity Golf Tournament

June 7, 2017

Dear Friends,

CBTU (Coalition of Black Trade Unionists) Ontario Canada Chapter will be hosting its annual charity golf tournament at the beautiful Richmond Hill Golf Course on August 15th, 2017. This is an initiative we started two years ago in an effort to raise funds for scholarships in the Black Canadian Community.

With the support of our members, and friends we’re hoping to make this charity golf tournament more successful than last year.  Join us for a day of fun, while supporting initiatives close to the hearts of our members.

Advertising and promotional sponsorships are available for those who are interested.  Sponsors will receive advertising at the designated event location they have chosen to sponsor.  In addition to advertising, sponsors will receive program spots and a special mention at the banquet.  Please make all cheques payable to CBTU.

Please see our sponsorship packages listed:

Hole Sponsor                                                            $1,000
Hole in One Sponsor                                            $1,500
Breakfast Sponsor                                                  $1,000

Later is Too Late: Act now to confront environmental racism on Earth Day!

April 22nd, 2025 is Earth Day. The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Ontario Canada (CBTU), the Enrich Project and the Toronto Environmental Alliance call upon labour and the community to reconnect with and build a relationship to the earth. Why? It’s simple – the extraordinary benefits of time spent outdoors should be available to all. Outdoors, is a great big, beautiful earth, where children and adults can learn about themselves through the experience of exploring in nature. One cannot love what one doesn’t know. If we want children to become adults who will care for and protect the earth, we must encourage a strong relationship with the natural world.
